A New Season

Well, with the new time change, spring training taking place in Florida and Arizona, March Madness just about to kick off, comes a new season to enjoy! Spring is right around the corner and I feel that yesterday was a preview of what Cindy and I will be able to do with Robbie (and Chloe) as the temperatures begin to warm up. Yesterday, Cindy took Robbie and Chloe for a little stroll around the neighborhood. It was a pleasant day as the temperatures got into the mid-60's by early afternoon, thus making it rather easy for her to go for a little walk. Robbie continues to grow a little bit each day and becoming more of a rascal too (been awhile since that word has been used!). While there are times he can be stubborn (especially when it is time to go to bed at night) and fuss, he has been a joy to have as our son!

This past weekend, we attended a wedding of a co-worker of mine from the radio station. During the ceremony, Robbie was very good as the vows were exchanged, music played and the laughter that filled the chapel were the wedding was taking place. It was a very nice wedding with some pretty cool stuff, like a video of the couple telling the story of their meeting and their engagement. There were a few people that had not met Robbie yet and they had the opportunity to do so. As usual, he was quite the charmer with some of the people who had came to the wedding, without taking away the spotlight of the newlyweds.

Also, this past week, Robbie got a few cool items from his grandpa and grandma. He received a hawaiian shirt and matching shorts when he gets closer to his 1 year birthday and a very cute bib that has 2 dolphins on it. He has already began using his bib to catch all the drool that comes out of his mouth. And! He has begun moving himself around in his crib with his arms and hands. Which means that within the next few months, he will become mobile! Also, he has been able to sit up tall (with some assistance) on the couch. There will be photos of that coming in the near future. They are very cute!

Well, that is about it for this time. Hopefully I will keep on this a bit better so that you will stay informed about this cute little (but growing) boy.
