Don't have a heart attack. I know it has been a few days since my last post, but I am trying to stay on top of things with Robbie and the boy is giving me some good news to pass along to everyone. So here we go again!
As most parents find out sooner or later, teething can be a bear at times! It seems a child does not want to sleep, eat or a host of other things. Well, Thursday morning (that starts at 12:01am), Robbie did not want to sleep. From 4:10am until 7:10am (or so) Robbie wanted to play! While Cindy and I rotated to tell this young man it was sleepy time and not play time, he was being a stubborn little guy (I keep reminding him that mom & dad have more experience than him, and we are more stubborn than him) and wanted to keep playing. If you remember my post from the other day in which I had mentioned that he received some gifts from Uncle Scott & Aunt Dawn during his first trip to Pennsylvania. Well, he had received a stuff Tigger that is pretty close to his height. Well, Cindy went in around 6:50am or so and he had Tigger by his tail, tossing it to & fro! I wish we had the camera for that one! He is getting strength in his hands, arms and legs to be getting pretty close to being mobile. The next thing I will be writing about will be the fact he has flipped from his back to his belly. He is getting the general idea on how to position his body to be able to roll over and with some practice, I am sure he will be flipping back & forth here in a few weeks (maybe while Grandpa & Grandma are here!).
Speaking of pictures. We recently filled up another camera worth of shots and will be taking them to get developed so everyone can see updated pictures of ouir little guy.
Well, time to head out and get some other things taken care of around here.
Have a great weekend!
