Greetings again folks!
Well, we all survived YES Fest this past Saturday. In case you are unaware of what Yes Fest is, it is a fund raiser for the radio station that brings together local and national bands to perform in a festival-type setting. This year, we had 3 national bands play, a couple of Toledo local bands and one from the Cincinnati area. All the acts did a great job and we had a great day as well weather-wise. There had been a threat of rain in the forecast during the day. However, God made sure it rained overnight before the event and a slight drizzle after everything was torn down for a little bit. God is good!
Cindy and Robbie were in the green room being great hosts for the event. Robbie did had a good time and was able to stay on schedule for the most part during his time in the room. He stayed until about 4:30pm (since we had been there since 9:30am to get things set up) when he went to spend some time with Grandma and we picked him up after everything was taken care of at the site.
Well, this past weekend was a good weekend once again in the sports realm. Ohio State beat Akron, Oregon beat UM, Clemson beat Louisiana Monroe and in pro sports, the Packers beat Philly and the Lions beat Oakland! We will see how everyone does this weekend. It should be interesting.
As for Robbie. Well, he continues to get bigger and more mobile! Cindy called me to tell me that he is getting big enough to reach some things on the chest that sits next to the couch. Need to move things to a higher level now! Nothing is safe! LOL He is also getting pretty good at crawling and both Cindy & I are thinking he will be walking within the next month or so. Once that happens, then Chloe will not be safe at all! She can get away from him if he begins to bother her. But there has been some very cute moments between the both of them. Robbie is getting better with petting her very gently. However, the other day, Robbie was on the floor with me when Chloe came up to us to get petted. Well, Robbie got a little too close to her and head butted her! Chloe didn't know what to do! She moved away from him and kind of had that stunned look. I had to remind Robbie that he had to be gentle on the puppy and not headbutt her. We will see.
That is about it for the time being. I will attempt to update at least once a week.
See ya then!
