Yup! Its May!

Another month in the journey of our lives.
Well as you can see, it is now the month of May and it was a while ago that I had posted about Robbie and other family happenings. Needless to say, I have been busy.
Robbie is still developing very nicely and is getting to be getting picky at times too when it comes to food. While there are times we wonder if he got enough or not, I know that the iron medicine that he is taking can make him not as hungry at times. His energy level has increased a bit since he began taking the iron. But he still get worn out after a good day of playing.
Cindy and I have been going to classes to foster/adopt children here in Lucas County. We are about half way through the classes (10 total) that have been pretty intense. They have covered quite a bit material in the last few weeks that have placed a heavy workload on our brains! While we understand the depth and details of each section, it is pretty tough at times. There have been topics that need to be addressed to make sure that the people who foster or adopt are the right kind of folks to care for these children. Too many times, people attempt to foster or adopt the children and they just mistreat them in various manners. We are hoping to be able to adopt thru the county. Thus we will be able to increase our family in this manner. We shall see!
A few weeks ago, I worked at the radio station for a few days during their bi-annual fundraiser called Sharathon. They were able to meet their goals and will continue to minister to kids, teens and everyone that tunes in. What a blessing they are!
Well, time to close for the time being. There are other things that have taken place in our lives that will be written here shortly.
Have a great day!
